I'm looking for a hair straightener that will straighten my hair really well and also make it look sort of soft and shiney!
Also a hair straightener that dosen't damage your hair badly.
thanks(:Whats The Best Hair Straightener Brand?
ghds are the best brand out on the market, even hair salons use them so that just proves that they are good. Although they are expensive they last for years and years and dont tug on your hair. However Ghds get incredibly hot so i use Tresemme heat defense - it is cheap and does make a difference, it also helps your hair soft and shiny, if you were to get GHDS make sure you get them from a salon or on the official ghd website, there are many people selling fakeones.
the GHD site is:
http://www.ghdhair.com/uk/shop/
If you decide GHDs are too dear then go for a product with ceramic blades, these are the best which prevent tugging on your hair as you straighten.
hope i have helped :)Whats The Best Hair Straightener Brand?
ok ok
i has the EXACT same problem.
for me i didn't want to get anything too pricy or anything that would ruin your hair like after 1 week of using it !
GHD's are noo
they make your hair dry and crisy after a few months using them and they break really easily.
also they cost 拢120 which is wayyy to epensive for a straightners.
i use remington, they make my hair feel moist even if i don't use heat protection spray and they cost about 拢50. they work really well and can keep my hair straight for up to 3 says even if it rains
good luck
the best straightener in the market is the Sedu!trust me i've used alot of irons and this one works!it leaves my hair so straight sleek shiny and smooth and dosent damage as much as other straighteners:)i highly recomend a Sedu:)
before after-http://www.folica.com/Sedu_Ionic_Cera_r1鈥?/a>
My favorite brand is the Chi. It doesnt damage your hair too much if you use a heat protecting spray. The Chi only takes like ten minutes and it makes your hair look soft and shiny like you wanted most of the time. If it doesn't you can just but hair stuff in your hair.
Hope I helped
chi n ghd are the best hun!!
flat iron works better for my curly wavy hair.....its easier to use!
get the chi turbo iron..its the best!! with chi my hair stays stick straight all day, even in humidity..if u dont want chi get the GHD! its awesome 2! before u say that they are too expensive let me tell u that at ioffer.com they cost from 15 to 50 dollars only!! that is soo cheap for such a popular iron like chi n ghd cuz usually at salons they cost around 100 to 200 dollars n more..n the ones at ioffer.com are authentic not replica's..some are replica's but make sure u ask the seller if its authentic..most are real..so ur saving loads of money...if u want to get the chi get the turbo chi model because it works faster then the original model n it has temperature settings unlike the other chi models...heres a pic
http://images.overstock.com/f/102/3117/8鈥?/a>
heres the ghd..it comes with a step by step instructional dvd, pink clips,a pouch n the iron offcourse
http://www.ioffer.com/i/NEW-PINK-GHD-MK4鈥?/a>
16 dollars only and no shipping charge....100 percent genuine!! so go to ioffer.com and start checking it out..u get such cheap stuff there that would normally cost 100 to 200 dollars at salons...hope this helped...message me for help...

I use a conair one. it works great. it's def. not the best but it does work good.
Sharper Image works great.
okay, first off, this is from experience advice! i spent $150 in total looking for the right hair straightener. go buy a chi. it's about $125-ish. a bit more or a bit less. u can buy it online or from a good store(ulta near my house sells it but i dont think all ultas sell it) chi works so well! im happy with it. they have a life time warranty(depending on where u buyit). i've had mine for 3 years and have not had a single problem w/it. it professionally straightend ur hair and in about 10-20 minutes if u have wavy/puffy hair. buy it! i promise u, u;; not regret it.
I have used the CHI and it is great but one that is just as great and lasted much longer for me; I have very thick wavy hair, is the ION Straightener from Sally's it is $70 to $80 and it is my best friend.
Whichever one you do get, work in smaller sections for better results.
chi!!! my friend owns one and its amaizing it cost about 120$ and u can get it at target , ulta, a salon and prolly other stores
CHI CHI CHI CHI CHI CHI CHI, oh and did i mention CHI!!!
Its the best straightener out there. Almost all salons use them. It's kinda pricey tho, 70-100$$$$$.

I have very frizzy wavy natural hair. Can some one advice what is a perfect straighter for this type of hair. I want one that won't damage my hair a lot and that it heats super fast and that gives me shine to my hair. It doesn't matter if it is an expensive brand as long as is worth. the money paying for. ThanksWhat is a good hair straightener brand?
Hm... I think you could go for either the CHI or an In-Styler.
I'm not sure if the In-Styler is as great as it says in the commercials, but it seems to have so many high ratings/reviews, so it must be good.
And it separates hair shafts so it'll be shinier and sleek.
But, as for the CHI, I've tried my friend's and it's pretty good. Like, a 4.5/5. And to avoid damage with the CHI, (all straighteners cause damage actually) use the CHI Silk Infusion. Put some on your hands and run it through your hair, starting at the ends first to have less damage done.
:) Hope this helped you somewhat
p.s. Oh, and I agree with CoffeeFanatic below VV
Any straightener that says 'nano' or has 'nano' whatevers, in it, is reallyreallyreally great. The nano technology adds moisture than your hair instead of drying it all up like a regular straightener. Those, of course, are way expensive, but if you're really up for it, you should buy one of those. :)What is a good hair straightener brand?
Solia:
http://www.folica.com/Solia_Flat_359_1.h鈥?/a>
I got one and i love it. It was actually rated better than the popular brand everyone knows, CHI. They are a little pricy, but DEFINETELY worth it. And any hair straightener will damage your hair, so i reccommend getting a heat protection spray. I use Got2B ';Guardian Angel';. Just spray it on a section of your hair, run a brush through it then straighten it, and it actually helps A LOT with how your hair looks after it's straightened, it will improve it a ton!
I would def. recommend CHI. They last for years (my sister has one that is about 7 or 8 years old) and they heat up in seconds! If you want shiny hair you might want to get the i.CHI instead. It makes hair shiny, smooth, and silky, and that's without product in it! If you want a heat tamer, you could also buy the CHI products or you could also get Tresemme, it works really good for me and is cheaper (i buy it at walmart for $4). I would buy the CHI in a salon though, because if anything happens to it they won't give you another straightener unless its bought at a store. Also keep very good care of it. Don't wrap the cord around it and read the manual that comes with it, if you do get it.
Hope I Helped! Good Luck!
i have the CHI nano and its amazing! i have very curly hair and my hair is done in less than 30 minutes!! it also leaves it feeling silky smooth and not burnt off like a lot of other companies sometimes do! i highly recommend it! it's a little pricy but is totaly worth it! think of it as an investment!!

I have the same type as your hair!
i use wet2straight by rimmington.
you can strauighten your hair when it's wet or dry!
and it only takes me 10 minutes to straighten my hair
i bought it for 20 bucks at wal-mart and i havent had
any problems with it :)
well i have REALLY horrible hair its curly but you cant brush it all its frizy and like yours.... the in-styler worked amazing i recomend it highly....no matter how hot the brush it will NOT burn your hair and it makes my hair super shiny
revlon it the best ive used
The Chi is the best. For best results, wait about an hour after your hair is dry and straighten in layers.
I think the InStyler thing would be good for you. IDK.

I would say that CHI is the best! I own a pink chi bling and I think chi's are the best kind I went to beauty school so I got to use all different kinds and chi is the best one i think. alot of people say there's breaks after a year or two but it's because they don't take care of them. With any straightener you get even if it's not a chi you still have to take precautions for its care. You have to unplug it when your not using it and don't rap the cord around it let it be loose to prevent it from shorting out. keep it in a safe place where it can't be knocked down or hurt. be gentle with the on/off switch because they can be fragile and get weak after a year or so or to many firm clicks. also the chi and other pricier straighteners get up to really high degrees so make sure you buy a thermal protectant spray so your hair doesn't start breaking off. hope this helped good luck.
The Farouk Chi Turbo Flat Iron ($125) with 2-inch plates and free Chi Biosilk serum is the best in this category. The versatility of the Chi flat iron is what sets this apart from others. It will not only straighten all hair types, but it can also curl and flip hair. It's heats up in an amazing 6 to 8 seconds and the quality, lightweight ceramic plates will last a long time.
Solia was okay but it made my hair too sticky and that was a problem. Plus, i waited an hour and my hair shocked me! It literally shocked me. The CHI never did that. I got a bruise for atleast 2 weeks. It doesn't hurt anymore but there is a scar.

What Hair Straightener brand is the best?
I have shoulder length thin hair (blonde if it matters) that is wavy and it gets sooo annoying because it gets really frizzy and ugly in humidity, everyone says I should get a hair straightener but I want to know which brand is the best for making hair less frizzy. If you know something else that is good for de-frizzing your hair please tell me! Also, don't say brands that are expensive, I want to keep the price around $30, so please don't bother to say the Chi or something like that. What Hair Straightener brand is the best?
CHI is deffinitely the best, but i've used other straightener's around $30 that were just as good [: such as the conair wet2straight, can basically be bought anywhere, i got mine at rite-aid. i think it's around $25? it worked really good, but over time it dried out my hair. hope i helped [:What Hair Straightener brand is the best?
For $30, you won't really get something that will be that effective.
Before getting my Diva I've tried brands like Remingtion and Vidaal and Sasson, that were around $60 AUD.
The did the job in about 3x longer than a better straightener, and the coating on the plates came off which caused breakage and snagging.
I can't recommend a specific straightener as I'm not sure which country you live in, but here are some good features to look out for:
Ceramic plates with Tourmaline.
Heats up to no higher than around 210 degrees Celcius.
Automatic turn off after no use in 1 minute (is a bonus, I have burnt many things accidentally by leaving it on. Including carpet, my shorts, and my cousins finger!)
A 1-2 year warranty is also good.

Price is no object...Best hair straightener brand...?
I think Chi sits ontop of that mountain....But for how long i'm not sure after i have seen the new wave of Irons by Designer Melissa Kaye that just released in the usa....They are all over ebay ! These irons are under $20 and they work absolutly wonderful! They have all the features of other brands like swivel power cords and adjustable temperatures (430F max on there irons)and they even have a lifetime warranty!...I think they will be the new cost effective wave to hit for this holiday season. It would not hurt to look into them.Best hair straightener brand...?
SEDU (125$)...I use one....I got mine from folica.com the reviews for sedu were better than chi...my expereince with Sedu has been very good...I do know that for hair straighteners Sedu, Chi and Ghds are best...
An expensive straightener doesn't necessarily promise a good quality straightener.
The CHI works very well, but just for about 2-3 months. Since it's so sleek, it can break very easily. And it really dries up your hair.
I like the Remmington. I got mine from Target for $40. I've had it for almost 2 years now and it's still in perfect condition. It completely gets rid of all poof in my hair, and it straightens it really easily. My hair is thick and reaches my bra strap. It takes me just 5-7 minutes to straighten my hair. It lasts till I shampoo my hair.
the chi is the best.
since it dries hair, you should condition ur hair every other day. if you really dont have to straighten ur hair on a certain day, then dont, it could really keep ur hair from getting damaged.
http://www.folica.com/Chi_Flat_I_317_1.h鈥?/a>
I have a CHI, had it over a year and it still works like new. It is a bit pricey but you said that not an issue. Aside from a good iron you also should invest in some good hair products.

I'm looking for a really good hair straightener. One that is ceramic and won't damage my hair. Does anyone have and good brands? Your help would be much appreciated. Thanks! =]WHAT IS THE BEST HAIR STRAIGHTENER BRAND????????????
As a stylist, I have used a lot of flat irons, including Sedu, Hai, Infrashine, Chi, Paul Mitchell, Solia, Big Sexy, Andis, Babyliss Ghd, T3, Kenta etc.
In terms of performance:
The best ones are: Sedu, Kenta, Solia, Infrashine, Ghd. These are top of the line professional brands
Above average: Chi, Hai, Paul Mitchell,
Average: T3, Big Sexy, Andis, Babyliss
Below Average: Conair, Vidal Sassoon, Revlon, Bed Head etc. These are cheap consumer brands that you will find in drugstore. If you care about your hair, do NOT buy them.

revlon indeed and also Chi
If Your Going For Cheap But Great For The Hair.
I Would Suggest The Remington Wet2Straight Ceramic Hair Straightners.
They Dont Damage Your Hair And Can Also Work On Wet Hair.. So You Dont Have To Take Ages Blow Drying.
Tbh.. I Think Theyre Better Than Ghds :D
Conair is cheap and doesn't work
you want CHI
or Revlon with gold plates (:
I'd say Andrew Collinge, I've tried many types and they've not been great but have worked, GHD just make your hair dry and make the fly aways more visible so i wouldn't recommend them.
Andrew collinge cost about 拢50 but you can get cheaper, i've got 2 pairs of his straightners they're good also his conditioners and heat defense sprays are great! xx
Conair.
My favorite is a revlon Stylix, it is white with red accents, and it is really comfortable, i think it was only like 60$
CHIs are awesome.
babyliss,
PAUL MITCHELL!!
there professional.
my mom is a hair stylist.
DON';T USE WET TO STRAIT OR WHATEVER!!
IT WILL BREAK OFF YOUR HAIR, AND DAMAGE IT
REALLLLLY BAD!
SEDU and CHI are th ebest, but sedu lasts longer.
chi,T3, and some stuff from sallys... but i wouldn't recommendd the wet to dry b/c that sizzles the hair if not done right. when you use the flat irons becareful... you want to use products that will help your hair from heat damage..... so use hair serums ( thats the best for me and my clients)
Chi
The herstyler hair straightener or the signature series one.
hey girl! i have naturally curly hair and a couple weeks ago, i got a FHI straightener. its the all pink one.
it works AMAZING. seriously. it doesnt make my hair frizzy or anything and of course, its super cute. id definitely recommend it =]this works

I myself bought a sedu and it works wonderfully
one word: CHI.
it's amazing. it's a little bit expensive, but it's sooo worth it. it gets to like 100 degress in like 30 seconds, i'm NOT exaterating one bit. it's great, and it has some kind of heat protectant in the bars that straten your hair. go to www.folicia.com :)
I have a chi, I love it! My mom and I both have wavy hair thats not too crazy but its really ';puffy'; especially in humidity, but we both have a chi and its wonderful. I guess it depends on your hair type though.

okay, first off, this is from experience advice! i spent $150 in total looking for the right hair straightener. go buy a chi. it's about $125-ish. a bit more or a bit less. u can buy it online or from a good store(ulta near my house sells it but i dont think all ultas sell it) chi works so well! im happy with it. they have a life time warranty(depending on where u buyit). i've had mine for 3 years and have not had a single problem w/it. it professionally straightend ur hair and in about 10-20 minutes if u have wavy/puffy hair. buy it! i promise u, u;; not regret it.

GOLD n hot.Best hair straightener brand...?
Well i have really curly hair that is tough to straighten but i actually got a straightener at walmart for $14.00 that works really well its black and gold. i also have a maxi glide but it doesnt work as well as my cheap one and the chi isn't all that good. but honestly my cheap straightner works best on my hair.

Whats the best hair straightener brand?
Like Babyliss?
Or Remington?
Which brand do u like?Whats the best hair straightener brand?
Babyliss will do you good, just as long your hot tool is ceramic and you have a good heat protect spray your hair will do goodWhats the best hair straightener brand?
If you're talking inexpensive, then Vidal Sassoon is a very good brand.
You can buy those at Walmart for just $25.
I've tried the expensive professional ones, and they have either worn out wayyy too early or they didn't do the job well.
An affordable one is Remington wet to straight about $30. An excellent one is Paul Mitchell line about $100.
CHI is the best, but it's so expensive.
I think remington would get the job done just as well though.
NEITHER!

Karmin Hair Irons are a wicked brand of hair straighteners, they have two models, one for $99 and another for $140, both work awesome for all hair types and at the site below you can save 10% off with coupon code HPPSpecial10
http://www.hairproductspro.com/karmin-ir鈥?/a>
I have the same type as your hair!
i use wet2straight by rimmington.
you can strauighten your hair when it's wet or dry!
and it only takes me 10 minutes to straighten my hair
i bought it for 20 bucks at wal-mart and i havent had
any problems with it :)
well i have REALLY horrible hair its curly but you cant brush it all its frizy and like yours.... the in-styler worked amazing i recomend it highly....no matter how hot the brush it will NOT burn your hair and it makes my hair super shiny
revlon it the best ive used
The Chi is the best. For best results, wait about an hour after your hair is dry and straighten in layers.
I think the InStyler thing would be good for you. IDK.
chi is awsome. there whole product line is awsome, and they smell amazing
http://www.chiretail.com/tools/irons/fla鈥?/a>
I use CHI.
In-Styler
GHD's
Hm... I think you could go for either the CHI or an In-Styler.

http://www.hairproductspro.com/karmin-ir鈥?/a>
I have the same type as your hair!
i use wet2straight by rimmington.
you can strauighten your hair when it's wet or dry!
and it only takes me 10 minutes to straighten my hair
i bought it for 20 bucks at wal-mart and i havent had
any problems with it :)
well i have REALLY horrible hair its curly but you cant brush it all its frizy and like yours.... the in-styler worked amazing i recomend it highly....no matter how hot the brush it will NOT burn your hair and it makes my hair super shiny
revlon it the best ive used
The Chi is the best. For best results, wait about an hour after your hair is dry and straighten in layers.
I think the InStyler thing would be good for you. IDK.
chi is awsome. there whole product line is awsome, and they smell amazing
http://www.chiretail.com/tools/irons/fla鈥?/a>
I use CHI.
In-Styler
GHD's
What is the best hair straightener brand?
it really doesnt matter what the price is. i live in sydneyWhat is the best hair straightener brand?
The CHI breaks easily and has a very limited warranty. Try the Sedu. That is what I use and my hair is nothing but thick curls.....
I can take it from this http://img368.imageshack.us/img368/8642/鈥?/a>

http://img148.imageshack.us/img148/8060/鈥?/a>
In less than an hour (which is amazingly fast for me). plus i can keep it straight for 2-3 days with minimal touchups! It is great in humidity too. I blow dry my hair, smooth on some heat protectant (CHI Infra Treatment Thermal Protective) and straighten. What is the best hair straightener brand?
Remington.
You can get this brand in target, princeline, basically anywhere and they cost less less than half the price of GHD and work the same. GHDs break way to easy, and a hair straightner is a hair straightner. Don't buy into all that marketing crap, and brainwashed dumb idiots telling you other wise.
CHI's do not last long. They break way too easily. Don't waste your money, and don't listen to the one's that are telling you it's the best. Sedu is one of the best straighteners out there and it is only $100.
To purcase a Sedu at the cheapest price, go to Folica.com , scroll to the very top and click on Hair Styling. On the left hand side, there will be and A - Z brand list. Find Sedu, click on it, and everything else from there is self - explanitory.
For more information on a Sedu, you can go to sedubeauty.com.
I would also recommend using a 1 inch instead of 1 1/2 inch, because the 1 1/2 doesn't do curls very well.
It reaches 410 degrees, with tempature control if you would like a lower tempature. CHI does not have tempature control. That means if the set tempature is too high for your hair, it can fry.
Celebrities have nice hair, and they don't use CHI. They use Sedu. There is something called Sedu hairstyles on every beauty website. No CHI hairstyles right?
Never use on wet hair.
Also, on Folica.com, people can post reviews on products after they have tried them. Here are they stats on CHI:
73 people say it is 1 star (bad) out of out of 1275 total reviews.
Sedu:
29 people say it is 1 star (bad) out of 3881 total reviews.
That speaks for itself!
If your hair starts to get damaged, turn down the tempature.
Take a look at this.
http://www.folica.com/appliances/straigh鈥?/a>
Note how CHI is number 7.
Note how GHD is number 4.
Sedu is the top flat iron and there is proof!
Or if you want something a little cheaper but also is still better than the CHI, get a Solia, it is second in line to the Sedu.
The say GHD is the best for around $300, I use a babybliss and there is no difference between the two, it also lets you curl your hair. Babybliss is around $200 but I got mine on sale.
You can get GHD's from most hair salons and Babybliss from Price Attack.
GHD definately - but it's expensive. The advantage with GHD as well is that it will also allow you to curl your hair - ask a hairdresser to show you how to do it - it's the only brand that can curl as well as straighten.
GHD. I think there about $200 or $300 I couldn't remember.
I tend to just go to cos-cuts and I get those $15 straightners and I find that they work better than my friends which are remington that cost $100. But to get the top I'd have to say GHD.
Good Luck :)
P.S Don't forget to use a heat protector in your hair before you straighten your hair!
I used to use a GHD in my salon but then had someone come in and ahow me a new type of straightener called Bioionic Straightening Iron....its sooo much better than GHD but its still around the $300 price tag..but its worth it.
Probably GHD if price doesn't matter.

What is the best hair straightener brand?
i have curly, dry and wavy hair. what is the best hair straightener that will not damage your hair even if you use it everyday and does not cause more than $100? how can i also make my hair shiny? What is the best hair straightener brand?
I was told by a stylist hot tools is a good brand. Steam irons are better for your hair but they do cost a little more. If you have a Sally Beauty Supply store any where near you they can help you with that. Also, as far as keeping your hair shiny, you can use an ';emergency repair'; solution like V05 hot oil and there are some others on the market or you can go to Aveda.com and they have solutions for stronger shiny hair. What is the best hair straightener brand?
Paul Mitchell and use the Paul Mitchell skinny serum...
To make ur hair shiny you could buy this lotion that makes ur hair shiny.
Straightners:
Chi(at sales)
Remington
Make sure the straightner you get is ceramic, no matter what brand. It has a more even heat and will do less damage to your hair.
CHI......It is a professional brand that only stylist can get.
go 2 fris electronics store and there 30$ or so its called conar i got 1 and they rule
ghds are definity the best. most professional hair stylest use ghds. they may be the most expensive brand out there but they are definity the best. i got one from sephor a month ago and it is absoulty wonderfull. for years i have ben using crappy conair ones but ghds are worth all the $250. they glide over my hair like silk and accutaly seal the hair cuticle so it makes you hair healthy and shiny. hope i helped!!! :)
I would have to say the Chi is the best. It's a little more expensive than 100 but it's totally worth it.
When I get my hair cut, my hair dresser uses a Paul Mitchel straightener, it looks wonderfull and it even has different settings for the heat temp.
I'd also use the Chi products along with it, they'll leave your hair shiny and repair.
no actually I havae the Chi iron and u do not need to be a professional to buy one. My beaution told be that Sally sold them and i bought one. Yes this is the number one flat iron out but u must buy the spray that comes with it if u do not want your hair to take heat damage and break out. The spray is like a shiled for your hair u spray before u iron down every strand of hair.
There are a lot of brands i know, but you definately shoul check out www.folica.com
it has the 10 top rated hair straighteners.
I love solia! it works really well :]
everyone says chi's are the best. believe me, theyre not! My friends have them and they break every couple of months!
people say theyre the best only because its available at retailers like target, and have never heard of solia, sedu, or hai.
hope this helped!
solia is a good hair straightener. (:
gives great results, makes you're hair soft %26amp; shiny no matter how ridiculous your hair looks. You can get out of bed with the craziest hair and use solia and you will shine like a star!mascara

What is the best hair straightener brand ?
I need really good quality hair straightener that could really last long do you know like the best brand for hair straighteners but still as a good price not expensive not cheapWhat is the best hair straightener brand ?
Chi hair straighteners are amazing, they're a bit of a splurge but not too bad.
The Chi straightener I currently own has lasted me almost four years.
It's definitely a good investment. What is the best hair straightener brand ?
GHDs are my fave bt theyr abwt 拢130 unless u cud get sum of ebay
there are actually two really good ones! my hair is naturally curly and the chi and instyler work really good in my hair :)
Don't buy Chi! There are better straighteners out there!
I know most people are saying Chi is the best but it's not. Chi is good but it's only above average. If you want the best you're going to have to go with something that's more professional. I've tried several flat irons and so far my favorite is Solia. It's a little more pricey than Chi but definitely worth the extra money. I've not tried Sedu (it's gonna be my next flat iron when my Solia stops working) but I've heard that it works great (it's suppose to be one of the best you can buy). The biggest down fall is that it's more expensive than Chi and Solia.
Oh and before I forget, if you want good flat irons at a reasonable price check out Folica.com. They've got a huge selection and really good prices. Plus they ship their products really fast.
I really hope this helped!
Edit: Conair, Remington, and Revlon will do nothing but damage your hair. They won't even heat up enough to make your hair stay straight all day. Don't waste your money on these cheap drugstore brands.
It all depends on how much you are willing to spend. Ive heard that CHI makes really good hair irons but they can run you about $60-$100.00 in price.
If your looking for a good but inexpensive iron look at Conair, Remington or Revlon. All make really good irons.
Hope this helps

GHD, i have them, awesome :) and they fully heat up in about 20 seconds, they made a beep when they have :)
Paul Mitchell works really well on my hair. My hair is super thick as well so..
I found online that Andis was a great brand so I bought 2 %26amp; I must decide which to keep. They are very decent priced ($18 for 1'; %26amp; $22 for 1.5';) at walmart.com %26amp; they have a 5 year warranty.
Revlon.
the kind edward cullen uses
I think chi, because it gets the job done right and fast.
CONAIR OR REVLON 1'; INCH
I have a Chi and I've had it about 2 years. Works great still.

Best hair straighteners brand?
me and my friend wanna have a make-over sleepover but none of have hair straightners! well I do but they burned out :( so i need some help picking newbies.Best hair straighteners brand?
GHD's, without a doubt. Everyone knows they are the best brand of straighteners ever, that is why they are so dear! Jus no other straighteners can compete against them ;-)
xBest hair straighteners brand?
if you get any straightner, get a remington one.
they're fabulous.
they recently came out with a new line of em, and they're called micro diamond, because as soon as you straighten a lock of your hair, it gets all soft and shiny.
it's the best. i use it every day, and one of the best things is that it doesn't burn your hair as much as other straightners, so your hair doesn't smell bad afterwards.
C:
everyone is saying GHD's and yeah they are the best, but price-wise, you should go for Salon angels! They look exactley the sames as GHDs, the temperature is the same - but they last a hell of a lot longer and are about 拢80 cheaper than GHDs.
GHDs - around 拢100
Salon Angels - i bought mine for 拢20
Dont look at brands. Ghds are good, and i have them now, but look at those that are ceramic and heat up to 210c.
Just the same hun x
It can be FIAMA DI WILLS?.... or LOREAL Paris or DOVE
GHD s and then Nicky Clarke
The BEST hair straightner is the GHD hands down.. Silver Bullet next, and after these two.. i dunno....

Which is the best hair straightener brand for my type of hair which is.....?
......Well, I'm half Asian half African. So my hair goes up into a big afro, which makes it hard to do every morning. So I was planning on getting a hair straightener that would actually straighten my hair and bring it down and not just leave it up into a big pouff! :D
So I was wondering if anybody knows a good hair straightener brand that would help me solve my hair problems.
And what store could I get it at. I live in Toronto, Canada, so we might not have the same stores as they do in other countries. (just saying incase someone replies from accross the world :D ) teehee
Thank you, This would really help save my life!.........(literally)Which is the best hair straightener brand for my type of hair which is.....?
I love my solia straightener that I got on folia.com
It has a temperature gauge heats up quickly. My hair feels so smooth after. Also compared side to side with overpriced chi straighteners I prefer this one.Which is the best hair straightener brand for my type of hair which is.....?
i have similar hair, i use a chi and it really does a good job, i think you can get it online :D
im mixed too but with african and white. my sisters hair does the same thing. maybe you should try chi or find another like it that is cheaper.
Wet to Dry from Wal-Mart.

My old straightener makes my hair smell burnt. I have no idea why. I need one that is cheap(no more than $30), does a really good job(my hair is really thick), and doesn't take long to heat up.What is a good hair straightener brand?
hey girl. I suggets you to invest to buy maxiglide. it's awesome. http://www.maxiusbeauty.com/What is a good hair straightener brand?
conair
Maybe you should try going to the hair dressers and asking them which one would be best for your type of hair.
What you need to do is use a hair serum or a leave in conditioner before you straighten your hair. ConAir has a good one, use a lower heat setting too!
FRUCTIS product line- under 10
The Chi...it costs about $125-150.oo
I have a revlon you can set it to thin hair or thick hair on the settings. You can find it at wal-mart for $17.And it olny takes 30 sec to heat up! hope i helped!
a CHI is expensive i think but it works really good. other than that my sister has a revlon straight iron. thats what its called but idk she said it was only like $20 so go to rite aid and they have good ones there
revlon.. for a perm
conair works the best about $15 ,wen u straten it does not smell burnt it smells just like it did b4 u stratened it
well your not to get a good ont for 30 hands down the sedu but it's 125.00 or rhe chi iot's 80.00 but the sedu it the top selling flat iron out there
type in the search box ; sedu and then you should see the word folica
click on that and youll get all the great flat ions wich is the sedu but look around
Sedu or Solia. I think both have wet/dry options. They are expensive but worth it. Try folica.com if you want to buy one.
Well first off you need a straightener with a gold plate because it will not burn your hair. And when your hair smells burnt that means your straightener accually burnt your hair.
get the corioliss brand. it straightens your hair, and aslo makes your hair soft. they are close to $100....good luck.

What is the best hair straightener brand ?
I need really good quality hair straightener that could really last long do you know like the best brand for hair straighteners but still as a good price not expensive not cheap
CategoryWhat is the best hair straightener brand ?
Sedu has a great price and it really leaves my hair very smooth sleek Ive 3 years using and it works like new. What is the best hair straightener brand ?
Hello, you can get CHI or GHD ,these two are the best of hair straighteners . such as Dark/Pink GHD MK4 styler flat hair straightener iron ,blue digital 1 inch CHI Ceramic Hairstyling Straightener iron .they are really good ,I would most definitely recommend it to you.
Chi and GHD flat irons are the best. They both cost about $100 but they last forever. They both are ceramic so they get to extreme heats fast! They both have a temperate control to where you can set it at whatever temperature you use. You should look up the chi though. You can get them for about $70 on ebay. I even tried the instyler but that thing is a piece of crap. Good luck hun!
GHD and Chi are the best ones, I have a Toni and Guy and it works really well, it was only 60 bucks too, which isnt too bad. It really depends on your hair, if your hair straighten's easily then you dont really need a very expensive one.
chi , definitely the best.
i have thick wavy hair to my butt and it used to take me a very long time to straighten.
now that i have a CHI it takes less than 30 minutes.
i also have a paul mitchell that works wonders.
i like ion straight
its not too costly and it doesnt burn my hair like others
you can find it at sally
croc i have had mine for over 2 years and it gets up to 430 degrees... very good... i have really thick, wavy hair and gets it pin straight
GHD (UK Brand)mascara

Does anyone know any good hair straightener brands?
before i buy one i might as well know the best brand.Does anyone know any good hair straightener brands?
CHI is the best in my opinionDoes anyone know any good hair straightener brands?
I love anything with ceramic plates, or ceramic coated plates. They are the best for your hair. Depending on how much you want to spend at a given time, you can go with a cheaper ceramic coated one, (which will last a few months) or go for an expensive one with ceramic plates that will last a lot longer. Good luck, I hope this helps!
omg! i got this new iron... the ella styling iron! its OSM!!!
**negitive irons so it conditions your hair instead of burning it
**like chi and all the other ';ceramic'; brands, they are coated in ceramic, these plates are 100% ceramic, so no harm done!
**it goes up to 475 F
**amazing results...it actually makes your hair STRONGER AND HEALTHIER!
**it can do curls, flips waves, and strat, wat ever you want it to!
**it is kind of expensive but let me tell you, IT IS WORTH IT!!! IT IS THE BEST THING EVER!!! I USE IT DAILY!
**$325 in salons...
go to that site and you will see it...its OSM!!! youll love it!
The Chi.

It is expensive, but worth the money. All straighteners damage your hair, but the ceramic plates help. Also, the thinner the plates, the straighter you can get your hair. Good luck!

i use a maxiglide straightener, it's amazing and the best in my opinion
some people say chi is the best, but really the maxiglide gets hotter than the chi
the maxiglide is also cheaper than a chi, not a very big difference in prices, but a little difference
hope this helps =)
Babyliss is quite a good brand and not that expensive either so i'd persoanlly recommend them you can buy them from argos or you could splash out on a pair of GHD's.. Most salons use them and they're around 拢99.99 from most salons. x
how expensive are you willing to go?
chi is great!
but veryy expensive.
if you are going for cheaper i have very thick curly hair and ceramic tools by jilbere works for me! it was only 20 bucks!
chi is good if you dont mind spending money.
i use a hairart, ive had it for maybe 6 or 7 years, its old and is heald together by ducttape, but still works like a dream.
the CHI, it's expensive but my hairstylist said it doesn't damage your hair as other straightners.
Conair

Whats your favorite hair straightener brand? :) i need a new onee<3?
i want to buy the chi or the solia on folica.com. people also mentioned how good the sedu revolution is. people also mentioned to me fhi and ghd and criolosis (sp? lol). i have a stupid conair one from walmart %26amp; it sucks. i have to go over the same strand of hair like 10 times %26amp; its still not pin straight.
i need a hair straightener that would make %26amp; keep my hair pin straight all day. i need one that can also curl my hair or can make my hair wavy.
can you put in order (1 being the best and the lower the number the worst it is) of which would do what i want?
also im asian so i have asian hair haha. someone mentioned that they have straight hair but some of my ends curl out and some curl in. i dont like it :/ and the ends of my bangs curl. thats why i need a new straightener! (:Whats your favorite hair straightener brand? :) i need a new onee%26lt;3?
im azn! and i hate when my right side flips out while my left flips in. it gets annoying. i have the corioliss (the one u have trouble spelling) and its the classic pro. it says its a limited edition on it but im not sure if its the colour (its black) or the model.
my friend has the Chi and has wavy/curly hair so thats probably a good one too.
the 1'; flat irons are the best ones for doing waves and curlsWhats your favorite hair straightener brand? :) i need a new onee%26lt;3?
I recommend the HAI Ceramic Flat iron. Its only about $80 and is amazing! Ive had mine for 5 years and it still works just as great as when i first bought it. I have very thick hair tht is very curly also.. %26amp; this keeps my hair straight %26amp; really soft throught the day.
I know straighteners are hard to find so good luck!
i had the same straightener you have at the time, the conair one. i went through a bunch of different ones. and i finally got the chi. its really amazing. if it can work on my crazy curls it can def. work on your hair. its sort of pricey but really worth the price. i hope i helped!

I need a flat iron thats about this size-http://www.squidoo.com/chi-flat-irons

Go to your local Sally's Beauty Supply store if you dont have you you can go to the website
http://www.sallybeauty.com/
JC Penney beauty salon sells the Ceramic hair straighteners.
I bought the Jilbre de Paris Nano Ceramic Ionic 1 1/4'; Flat Iron From Sallys and I love them. They are really hot and don't catch your hair and break it off while your moving down the length. Don't pay high prices of the Chi. I paid about 65.00 for mine and it is the same thing as the original Chi. All your doing is paying for the name now. the Jilbre is just as good.

I've used a CHI for the past 4 years and have been happy with it.
Chi flat irons are on sale at Costco for $80 now, so you might want to check that out if you are a Costco member. You may have to call your local Costco to see if they have any in stock. Otherwise, you can ask which Costco has them and they can help you locate one. :)
gdh but their prob $200
chi is the best! I have one ^_^

i have a remington wet to straight that was about $32 at kohl's and it works REALLY well. it doesn't fit in your price range but it works and i love it. it gets me pin straight hair so you don't have to kill your wallet for a hair straightener for 50 dollars +.

hoped i helped.
I know CHI works really good but is like $130.00. Another good one is EMI. I personally think works just as good as a CHI and EMI hair straighteners are only like $30.00!
try a chi straightener, a little pricey, but totally worth it

Which hair straightener brand is best??
I have recently decided to start straightening my hair, but i don't want my hair to become extremely damaged. I was thinking of buying a GHD straightener because I heard they straightened hair very well with very little damage. Are GHDs the best hair straighteners, or if not then which brand is best?Which hair straightener brand is best??
The ';Chi'; is really good! I have one and it works really good! If your are worried about your hair being damaged I would put straighting balm in your hair before you straighten your hair! =] Good luck I hope I helped! I also have a ';Maxi glide'; Straightener that steams your hair that works great to! You can get it at Bed bath and beyond for 50 or 75 dollars! Which hair straightener brand is best??
REMINGTON is the best. Ceramic and teflon-coated plates keep the hair shiny and straighter than ever, unlike those unknown brands' hair tools that end up giving a lot of frizz to your hair. if you're planning on buying one, go for REMINGTON CERAMIC AND TEFLON HAIR STRAIGHTENER. if you're thinking of straightening your hair regularly, then deep condition your hair after shampooing.
I have really wavy/curly hair and I used to have a Conair straightener. I bought it for $20 at Wal Mart but it didn't work at all, and it gave me split ends!
--%26gt;Then this year I bought a CHI at Marshalls. They had one in the back and I got a sweet deal on it [$80] Usually they are around $100-$150! If you can't find one at marshalls you can go to a local salon and buy one from them, or order one at Folica [http://www.folica.com/]
I like it because it leaves my hair silky smooth, and a lot of salons use them, so it's professional quality. It's also worth the money because not only can you make your hair stick straight, but you can do flips and even curl. YouTube [http://www.youtube.com] has some tutorials of styles you can do with a CHI.
Just make sure that you use a heat protecter with any straightener that you buy otherwise you will get a lot of damage. I reccomend using either the CHI brand ';Straight Guard'; [Walgreens] or Tresemme ';No Friz Ultra Light Shine Spray'; [any drugstore]
I have used GHDs for five years and they are truly amazing. They slide through your hair so easily and make the hair so sleek and smooth. you can also curl hair with them. All good salons use them. I would never recommend straightening your hair every day though: the heat is just too much. I strighten mine with the hair dryer over a round brush for work and with the straighteners for social occations.
The GHD IV, Sedu or Chi
I have a Babyliss and its fine. Cost around 100.00. I don't love it, but don't dislike it either.
The Sedu is very lightweight and heats up quickly. The CHI is a little heavier, and supposedly easy to short out.
SEDU:
1) Lightweight
2) Straightens better
3) Does not catch hair or break hair
4) Have temperature control (good)
5) Heats up fast
6) Hair softer and shiny for my thick hair.
CHI:
1) Heavier
2) Cheaper
3) Straightens well
4) No temperature control (fixed temp)
5) Breaks easily
well it depends on you hair type and every straightener is going to damage your hair no matter what i have a remington wet to straight
but what i suggest if you dont want your hair damaged is to use a prtreatment like a spray or jell that protects ur hair while u straighten it
okie doke hope i helped =]
as a hairdresser i say if you want quality results use ghd they are the best by far they give you salon quality looks that last
but i must add hair straightners arnt good for your hair so make sure you use heat defence also to protect your hair
http://ghd-uk.co.uk/
good luck hope i helped
Babyliss pro 230 elegance...they are hotter than GHD's, they tame the frizz better, and they are half the price =] you can have it on 3 different heats and i have used them for a year and swear by them...hope this helped.
i use ghd and there amazing well they work for me you can find them for about 拢70 in some saloons so there good value also they will last you for ages so i would if i was you investe and buy some ghd
If you have very thin hair, you can buy cheap straighteners (like conair) but if your hair is thick and wavy, GHD is a good choice. I like the sedu too.
GHDs are really good but expensive. If you're worried about your hair getting damaged by straighteners, it's more about the temperature that they are and you can protect your hair by using a serum.
I heard Chi is the best but I have a conair with the felt on the outside and I love it! If you use a flatiron spray like the Chi brand you'll be fine.
ANYTHING from salons or salon supplies ! Trust me....don't settle for less ! Anything from Walmart, Zellers ect. is not worth it !
Go to a salon and ask about which one best suits your type of hair ! They will really help you out ! :)
NOOO, the best is MAXIGLIDE!!!
its a little expensive, but absolutely worth it
ANSWER MINES!!!! ANYONE!!!

Conair Tourmaline Wet to Dry Cermaic Straightener...works really good. but even thought it say wet to dry, dont use it on wet hair u will fry your hair...
for the best results with minimal damage, i would definitely recommend solia flat irons.
CHI is the absulote best but there realy expencive if u hav 80 $ to spend get a chi if u dont conair %26amp; GDh r both good
TRESemme
CONAIR
GHD's are by far the best
=] they straighten even the wildest hair

Hair Straightener Brand...Wyndells?
Is there a hair straightner brand that sounds similar to windells? My friend was telling me about it so I googled it and nothing came up so I've probably mispelled it.Hair Straightener Brand...Wyndells?
i think you mean WAHL they do a really good straighten I've been told....Hair Straightener Brand...Wyndells?
helen of troy they are really good but not sure about that one sorry
As a stylist, I have used a lot of flat irons, including Sedu, HAI, Infrashine, Chi, Paul Mitchell, Solia, Big Sexy, Andis, Babyliss GHD, T3, Kenta etc.
In terms of performance:
The best ones are: Sedu, Kenta, Solia, Infrashine, GHD. These are top of the line professional brands
Above average: CHI, HAI, Paul Mitchell,
Average: T3, Big Sexy, Andis, Babyliss
Worst: Conair, Vidal Sassoon, Revlon etc. These are cheap consumer brands that you will find in drugstore. If you care about your hair, DO not buy them.
Yeah, Wyndells. Or Windells. They sell them in Bubbles. Same with the Chi, a sexy straightener ;) Haha.
I use a Chi straightener and it made my hair soft and touchable. Even when it is very humid, it holds the style. And even if you have had your hair in a ponytail all day after using this straightener, when you take it out, your hair is still pin straight. Hope this helped!
not heard of the brand, but i am always being told to use ghd's as they are the bestmascara

Whats a good hair straightener/brand?
one that works on wet and dry hair would be best, but put down any that you know.
thanks!!Whats a good hair straightener/brand?
Try Folica.ca
they have LOTS of straighteners, for all kinds.. they come in wet to dry or just plain dry.. the best for plain dry hair is Sedu, i just got mine off folica. Wet to dry actually damages your hair more and i dont recommend it.
But try Sedu, it's freakin amazing.. makes your hair feel so nice and it goes to a really high temperature.
Whats a good hair straightener/brand?
i have the chi straightener and its slick as hell but it was spendy.
:)
my friend has a vidalsaloon or whatever and hers works good, my recommedation is NO wet to dry one. it gets some hair frizzy and not straight hahaa
I have a remmington wet to straight %26amp; I LOVE it.
A really good wet to dry straightener would be any conair products...they really work!

Which is the best hair straightener brand? where to buy?
CERTAINLY GHD ,, they are the bes

http://beautify-flr.blogspot.com/2008/11鈥?/a>Which is the best hair straightener brand? where to buy?
Definitely GHD - I've got really coarse curly hair and they transform it! I bought mine from ebay but you have to be EXTREMELY careful to get a real one and not a fake. I was lucky this time but a friend of mine got duped. They are definitely worth the investment even if you buy direct from GHD. I bought my daughters that way and don't regret a penny of what they cost.
Depending on your hair length I fully recommend the wide salon size. A good straightening protection spray is Trevor Sorbie Straightening Addict which you can get at Boots. It also comes in a small trial/travel size so it's good to try it out first. I wish more products did that!Which is the best hair straightener brand? where to buy?
I would defiantly recommend GHD. I've owned mine for 4 years. My hair is naturally quite frizzy and with these I don't need to straighten my hair every day. It doesn't take long to straighten your hair either.
I brought mine at my local hair salon for 拢130 (pricey but so worth it) but you can also buy online at www.ghdhair.com
GHD, on their website or on ebay or something. Or in many hair salons. I however use Remington, which in my opinion work just as well. GHD's cost around 拢100. And my remingtons cost me 拢20. Just make sure they are ceramic, heat upto around 200C and heat up quick :)x
Mine is panasonic and it works really well
you can try braun to, they're professional, but it depends on your hair, if its really curly you'll need proffesional but if its wavy you should stick with panasonic...
GHD hav e always been seen as the best but others have now caught them up - you want ones that get to 260 degrees - decide on whether you want thick or thin plates. I have morphy richards and love them
My sister swears by some sort of ceramic babyliss pro model something or other %26lt;insert number here%26gt;
Heats up in 2 seconds apparently.
GHD's are great although they are fairly expencive.
If you are looking for something cheaper then I would go for Babyliss.. they aren't so expencive but still really effective :)
In my opinion, GHD's are the best straightners i've ever used. You can buy them from any good salon, make sure you remember to use good heat deffense as they get really hot. x

Hair Straightener brand is best?
Chi or Solia.... Or any other brand you know of.Hair Straightener brand is best?
I've never tried a Solia hair straightener, so I can't vouch for that one but I have tried a Chi. Chi hair straighteners are awesome, there's no other that even comes close. I got this trial one that's really good directly from the Chi company itself. All I needed to do was try it out for at least 60 days and then give feedback every few days.
It works really awesome, it just heats up super fast and takes me about 5 minutes to straighten my hair and I got really long wavy hair.
I'm not sure if there are any left, but you can always try http://www.freesamplesfromheaven.com/chi鈥?/a>

Chi
I've had my Chi for 4 years and it STILL gets hot in literally seconds and does an amazing job. Before my Chi I had a crappy thick straightner (dont remember the name, but it was a well known brand recommended by friends) and it worked well the first month and then it took forever to get hot and just didn't do a good job.
I swear by Chi, I will never by another straightner by a different brand
hollyy
Buy a CHI Straightener. I heard they work really well, and you can buy them off Ebay for like 70$. Its worth the money though .

my friends and co-workers SWEAR by Chi.

one that actually works :/ all the ones I have don't work well. What's a good hair straightener brand?
I'm using Sedu straightener right now :)
I had Remington Wet2Straight before which suckeedd.
And compared to that, sedu is like heaven.
It keeps my hair straight all day.
Makes it look healthy %26amp; shiny.
You can curl with it.
And people compliments me a lot about my hair now.
I reallly recommend it.
Big price, but totally worth it!
Good luck %26lt;3What's a good hair straightener brand?
I've used Hot Tools for the past 5 years. It has heat settings so you can make it hotter if you have thick or very curly hair and cooler if you have fine or wavy hair. It's $50 - a lot more affordable than the CHI and I think it works much better.
You could try CHI brand. ONce my cousin tryed to straighten my hair with it and did. the results were great. Its a little expensive but it works great checkout the website!!! But I dont Own it ..=(

conair or bedhead
i need to buy one and want to know which brand is better
plz and thnxWhich hair straightener brand is better?
i think it depends on your hair type. i have used conair before, but it wasnt great for my hair. i have lots of hair and it's curly. conair took so long to get hot and was just a waste of money. bedhed is just ridiculous with its pricing. my suggestion is to buy revlon; that's what i use. it has a great price, and it works great.
********Do Not get conair. it sucks!!!!Which hair straightener brand is better?
I would think Conair. It is what my mom uses, and she is a professional cosmetologist. It straightens even the most unmanageable hair, so i think it's great.
bedhead. i have it and i'm in love with it.
Either one that is least damaging you can find out more info about the straightner on its website then buy it on ebay to get it cheap good luck oh and dont forget to protect your hair with heat protectant spray!

I have never owned any kind of hair thing like this, so I want to know what you guys have found successful. I have curly hair, but the are loose curls. Hey :D
CHIs' and Paul Mitchell Straighteners work wonderfully. Both are commonly used in salons and in households. These work really good, but I'm not sure exactly where they are sold in India(I'm Indian BTW.) You can buy them online, and it's worth it! They don't cause the bad frizz when you straighten your hair. It will look sleek and beautiful. Doesn't out-burn your hair...It's wonderful.

What's the best hair straightener brand?
I'm thinking of asking for one for x-mas. I have very thick, curly hair. I heard the chi is good. What is the best kind and why? What's the best hair straightener brand?
I'd say Chi is by far the best hair straightener. I got this trial one that's really good directly from the Chi company itself. All I needed to do was try it out for at least 60 days and then give feedback every few days.
It works really awesome, it just heats up super fast and takes me about 5 minutes to straighten my hair and I got really long wavy hair.
Just go to the Chi website and look for the small trial sample icon and click on it, it'll then lead you through a series of steps or just go to the direct link here http://www.freesamplesfromheaven.com/chi…
I hope that helps :)What's the best hair straightener brand?
Girl, I've had this problem my entire life!
First off, I have extremely thick, frizzy, curly hair. It's so difficult to straighten, lol.
I have used EVERY drugstore straightener out there, they just make my hair look like a mess. However, the best one that I tried was the Remmington Wet/Dry one. (only use it on the dry setting, never straighten your hair when it's wet unless you want to damage it!)
After being extremely frustrated with straightening it every day, I went and got the Japanese straightening treatment on it, so that I could just shower and not worry about it when I got out, it'd just be nice and sleek. However, that was the only thing it could be: straight. It wouldn't curl at all. I didn't like not having the option.
A year passed and the treatment wore out, and I got a Chi. It was great! I could straighten my hair in about 25 minutes, and it was shiny and beautiful at the end.
Recently, I got a GHD and seriously do not know how I ever lived without it. It heats up in about 10 seconds, I'm able to style my hair in 8-15 minutes (it depends on my roommates distracting me, lol), and it is just such a beautiful product. It has a safety setting, so I never worry about leaving it on (turns off by itself), and most importantly it holds an even heat. A lot of straightening irons lose heat as you run it through your hair and you have to adjust the settings every once in a while to make sure it's at the proper temperature. I never worry about that with my GHD. It has ceramic plates which leave my hair SOOO shiny.
The short version:
Decent: Remmington wet/dry
Good: Chi (1'; - full size - DO NOT get the Chi Mini, it will BURN your hands lol I learned that the hard way)
BEST/AMAZING/TOTALLY worth the price - GHD
i used to have the frizziest hair in the world. my mom then bought me a vidal sassoon hair straightener... it's a life saver! even though i dont use it, my hair isnt that frizzy anymore :)
it uses tourmaline ceramic, which is good for your hair and apparently the more you use it, the more healthier your hair grows. i dont know if that's true but my hair is shinier and more obedient now :)
it can be wireless for 15 minutes also
The best hair straightener would have to be a GHD - perfect for thick and curly hair! You wont know yourself with one of these. The new ones actually scan your hair and they can tell how thick/fine it is and it adjusts the heat accordingly. They are not cheap but once you have one it will last you for many years.
i got a sako ultimate last christmas. best thing i have ever bought. it turns itself off after 30 minutes. it beeps when it is ready. im not sure what the temperature is but its over 200. i personally think it is better then a ghd. me and my friend straightened my other friends hair(she had really really curly hair) and my half was flatter and straighter and less frizzy then hers. i was using a sako, she was using a ghd
I will GHD dam good straightners would recommend this
remingtons wet to straight.
it works well because it doesn't make your hair frizzy after using it everyday and it makes it straight the first time you go over your hair, you wont have to keep going over your hair to get a piece straight.
$30 at walmart.
CHI was good ,or you can try GHD.i have very long thick curly hair , i would never consider anything except GHDs.i use the MK4,they never let me down.
GHD without a doubt!
They are amazing! I would never buy anything else.
They make my hair super smooth and super straight.
I use these ones
http://www.ghd4yourhair.co.uk/images/ghd…
They do wonders for your hair!
Chi is good, but they break kind of easily.
I'd recommend either GHD or Sedu.
They're both amazing top of the line brands (:
I have a Sedu, and my hair is a lot like yours. It gets my hair pin straight in 15 minutes.
:]
Be less concerned with brands and more concerned with content. Look for something that has keratin as a primary ingredient. Keratin strengthens hair, not fancy brands.
GHD,VS sassoon and chi is the best : )
GHD, Hands down, cause you can do heaps of things with it %26amp; it's great quality.
I have belson pro and it's AMAZING [:
I heard chi is good too but it's way expensive
most definitely a GHDmascara

I have been straightening my hair for two years, and I am very happy with Conair. They make very good straighteners and hair care products. Check your local drugstores -- they carry the latest styles and brands.

What are some good hair straightener brands?
my hair is wavy curly with some straight pieces?lol
I am currentlt using an andis straightner its ok but time for a new one.
im thinking maybe a paul mitchell one.
what about a chi?
what is your personal preference and reviews on brands?
thanks in advance :)What are some good hair straightener brands?
i have a h.a.i. straightner. it's a 2 inch, and i love it! i've always heard good things about chi's too. my sis loves them. the smaller the size, the closer you can get to the scalp. so if the wave starts pretty close to the scalp, i'd suggest a 1 inch or so, but if you have somewhat straight hair, that it's more like straightening the kinks out and you want to save a little time, i'd use a 2 inch. What are some good hair straightener brands?

Does anyone know about the hair straightener brand HairStyler?
I was in Westefields the other day, walking with my friends, when a guy from a stand asked me if I wanted to try the HairStyler hair straightener. I said ok and he made a curl in my hair. Then he said the HairStyler is better than GHD and he gave me his card to come back that day and buy for a discount. However, on the card there was no website. Does anyone know about the HairStyler and how good they are? Thank you so much for any help. Does anyone know about the hair straightener brand HairStyler?

What's a Good Hair Straightener Brand (In My Budget)?
I'm going to be getting a hair straightener soon and I don't know and good brands. Also, I'm on a budget and the most I'm willing to spend is about $80. I've heard that Chi sucks, and I know that GHD is really good, but that straightener is really expensive. Also, If you know and good websites that could help me out OR any stores that sell good straighteners please feel free to tell me. Thanks for the help! :)What's a Good Hair Straightener Brand (In My Budget)?
Yikes, $80.00? Well, The instyler is 99.99 (not including tax.) You can get it at Bed Bath and Beyond. It can straighten, curl, or make a wave to your hair. It hardly damages your hair and makes a shine to your hair. It can do almost anything! Lol maybe there is some christmas sales at Bed Bath and Beyond. OH! I just rememberd there is 20% coupons i dont know if they still have them though try going on there website. Hope this helps! Oh and the chi wears out in a bout 2 years and you have to strike your hair many times to get that straight look but with the instyler you only have to strike your hair once. What's a Good Hair Straightener Brand (In My Budget)?
If you want a quality straightener, you need to be willing to spend $120+. CHI straighteners definitely do the job effectively, they just wreck your hair faster because of the metal. There was one brand that stuck out to me (can't remember the name though). They come in purple, pink, and black I believe (if that helps narrow it down any) and they have no metal in them at all. They work amazing and they don't damage your hair. They're regularly $200 but sometimes you can find them on sale for around $150 and they give a $30 discount to students, so that's something to think about. Anyways, hope that helps :) Good luck.
go to sally's beauty salon and get a GVP hair straightener .
the heat goes up to 410 %26amp;works great . ive had mine for 2years now %26amp;it still works like brand new %26amp;it was only $60
Checkout Cloud Nine fnew and rare only available in Salons
Sall's beauty saloon will give you nice products and within your budget
i've had a remington wet to straight for a while now and... IT SUCKS.
chi is a popular brand and it's widely available, but i've only ever heard good things about sedu, and i think i'm going to get it. you could try ghd; it's worth it to splurge a bit on a good straightener if you're going to use it regularly.
good luck!
My straightener is a Remington Wet 2 Straight. It is only about 25 dollars but it is really good quality. You can get it at your local target or Walmart.

What hair straightener brand would you recommend?
(as in flat iron)
EXCEPT for ghd. What hair straightener brand would you recommend?
I have a chi and it works amazing. I would most definitely recommend it to you.and you can buy it online ,which will cheaper. What hair straightener brand would you recommend?
I've heard CHI is the best, and that's the flat iron I plan to buy when I replace my old one. I'm currently using Revlon Style X, and it has served me well over the years.
Don't buy anything cheaper than $40.00, though. Flat irons are one of those things where quality corresponds directly to price - you don't want to fry your hair!
I have one from BedHead and it's the best one I've had. They have one made for long hair and one for short. Plus the lights on it change according to the temperature.
chi's are great! also a nano is too. i use it and it works great, better than the chi i had.
chi!!!!! you can adjust the temperature, and plus it really good at curling too, but they are expensive.
CHI - all the way! It's top of the line and works amazing. It's the only brand that I would ever use!
conair (the conair silver is great!!) or chi.. chis are the best but they are a little priceymascara

GHD !
It may not exactly be budget but it's very very worth it.
It heats up in 30 seconds at 400 degrees
This straighter does not leave your hair dry like other straighteners.
It can also curl it you want it to.

What it is:
Endorsed by the world's top session stylists and hottest celebrities, the new, revolutionary professional ghd Styler maintains ghd's pioneering ceramic technology and unbeatable operating temperature while boasting new features such as an improved body shape and curved barrel for ultimate styling.
What it does:
The unique ceramic technology heats up to its maximum temperature in seconds and locks in moisture, natural oils, and hair color for total hair protection. The new ghd styler makes it even easier to create curls, twists, flicks, and waves, while retaining its unrivalled ability to achieve straight and sleek hair.
New features and benefits:
-New, improved body shape facilitates curling effects as well as straight styling.
-Improved circuitry maintains a more constant styling temperature. The iron heats up to its maximum temperature every millisecond ensuring optimum heat on the hair from root to tip.
-Sleep mode function automatically switches iron off if it is not used for 30 minutes.
-Universal voltage feature operates from 110V to 230V by sensing the incoming voltage, making it great for travelers.
-Outer casting is made from Rynite庐, a fire-retardant material that ensures the outer casting does not get too hot when you're styling hair or handling the product.
-Includes an instructional DVD.
High performance properties:
-Designed to create curls, twists, flicks, and waves, as well as straighten the hair.
-Ceramic-coated aluminum plates help seal the cuticle and create shine while locking in hair's natural moisture, preventing atmospheric moisture from re-penetrating hair.
-Emits a large proportion of infrared heat and negative ions, both of which are less damaging to the hair, reducing static and creating shine by closing the cuticle.
-Conventional irons use PTC or copper-wound elements, which are less efficient at emitting infrared heat and negative ions and can dry out the hair.
-A 9-foot swivel cord prevents tangling and damage.
-Floating blades provide flexibility and smoothness when styling.
-A built-in microprocessor embedded in one of the blades monitors and regulates the blade temperature 5 times a second.
-If the temperature exceeds its maximum regulated temperature, the thermal fuse will blow, resulting in the iron switching off.
-The thermal fuse is a safety feature to prevent the iron from overheating.Hair straightener brands? Getting a new one!
i have a chi and it works great but my hairstylist uses a cricket when she does my hair and she said its the best flat iron she has ever had. I plan on buying a cricket when my chi goes out. You are going to pay $75-$100 though. cheap flat irons don't heat up fast enough and don't get very hot. To me its worth paying the extra money for a nice one.
hope this helps:)
